D. Pharmacy or D. Pharma is a diploma level programme for aspirants who wish to study Pharmacy and opt for a career option in medicine. It is a 2-year full-time diploma programme designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields.
The Diploma in Pharmacy syllabus includes fundamental Pharmacy Education such as the application of chemistry in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as theoretical and practical concepts of biochemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology. The course teaches students about various chemical salts, as well as their applications and uses in medicine. The programme is extremely important in the pharmaceutical sector.
About SPI
Shifa Pharmacy Institute- was established in year 2019, by Bilpar Dhumkar Yuva Parishad (Regd Society) with an aim to bridge the gap between the requirement of Pharmacists in the society, to promote the pharmacy profession and their availability in the North-Eastern States and across the country.
